St Andrew's provides the venue for Walton-on-Thames Child Contact Centre. The Centre was the brain-child of a member of St Andrew's, Joan Davis, based on one she had seen operating at St Andrew's URC, Castle Gate, Nottingham. The doors were opened seventeen years ago., An ecumenical outreach – members of many of the other Walton Churches form the majority of the volunteer base, an Elder from St Andrew’s is the co-ordinator..
St Andrews has provided this safe and neutral venue for children from broken families to meet with their non-resident relatives on each and every Saturday. Members of St Andrew's, realising the sensitivity of the Centre's clients, generously observe an unwritten rule not to use the hall for anything on Saturday afternoons.
