The two main objectives of the Ladies Committee are to hold monthly lunches and to raise money for a variety of church activities and charitable support. The Committee currently sponsors three children in Palestine, through Biblelands, and supports Khelaghar School, near Calcutta.

The Committee also organises the decoration of the Church for Easter, Harvest and Christmas services, and a Church Lunch to support the St Andrew’s Gift Day every November.

Members arrange lunches and, during the year, organise an interesting and varied programme. Previous lunches have included a DVD on Exbury Gardens, a speaker from Biblelands, Missionary work in India, a St Andrew’s Member speaking of her life in Chile, a Flower Arranging Demonstration, music and dance by AVIV and Christmas celebrations. The speaker from Biblelands was able to provide more information on the organisation, and where money donated will be used.
